Security control services for the airside area consists of security control and clearance of employees, crew, cargo and vehicle access for the airside security controlled areas. Today there are 8 security checkpoints that give access to the airside security controlled area. For 2011 the estimated numbers of passings are one million. The vip-service is also a part of the service. In addition to operation of these checkpoints and vip-security service, there is a need for various types of security control services. Examples of these are carrying out security guard tasks, operation of mobile x-ray machine and alarm/emergency assignments in response to various types of incidents.
The different types of security services require specialized training and authorization of personnel. The supplier will have to carry out continuous cost-effective training, both theoretical and practical, to be able to meet the need for qualified personnel at any given time during the contracting period.
