Complete connecting a new sink / sink tap to water pipes / cables

Our sink broke and we bought a new one, thinking it would be easy to replace it. But the previous sink tap had crimped pipes, making it hard to replace them. So we purchased a new sink tap. Now the tap cables and the water pipes don´t fit. Would need help / advice in how to complete the connection.
