RFI - passenger flow analysis platform
The rfi´s purpose is limited to gather information about relevant sensor- and software based system. Please note that we are looking for solutions that comply with the following requirements:
• The system should be able to track people and/or mobile devices on individual level close to real time, and map tracking data to indoor or outdoor maps using the wgs coordinate system. The system should be able to detect the number of people present at any location with a high degree of accuracy. Preferably we would like the software based system to take advantage of existing sensor and software infrastructure such as cameras, WiFi-networks, eGates and similar installations as data sources, but it can be extended with additional sensors if required.
• The software system should be able to gather data from multiple external sources such as 3rd party sensors and APIs. It is essential that tracking data can be correlated with points of interest (POIs) in the airports. This includes, but is not limited to, flights, shops and checkpoints in the airport check-in, bag drop, security control, boarding etc.)
• The software system should provide analysis functionality such:
o Aggregation of tracking data based on timestamps and location or similar correlation keys
o Aggregation of tracking data with the purpose of separating visitors and employees, flow direction (arriving or departing), destination (domestic, Schengen, non-Schengen), correlating flights and similar
o Correlation of individual or aggregated tracking data and POIs
o Calculations such as the volume of people present at any poi at specific times of hour/day/month/year
o Calculations such as passersby, captured and capture rate for any commercial poi
• The software system should provide a flexible presentation layer for visualizing analyses, preferably interoperable with Microsoft PowerBI.
• The software platform will co-exists with a number of existing systems and should offer a high degree of interoperability.
• The software system should provide well defined open APIs and allow the extraction of tracking data and analysis results into 3rd party systems in use in Avinor.
• Any personal data gathered by sensors or the software solution must be handled in compliance with the eu General Data Protection Regulation (gdpr)
This rfi will be carried out as a 2-step process:
1) Avinor will announce the rfi on Doffin/ted. Suppliers who would like to participate can indicate their interest by sending an -email to the contact person within two weeks from the announcement. Participants must supply their answers by 16: 00 cest on September 14th 2018.
2) a-to-a-meetings are conducted with some selected suppliers (at the end of September). a-to-a meeting might include possible demos and reference visits.
Avinor will use submitted rfi information for further planning of a potential procurement. The information given as a response to this rfi is not in any way binding for an upcoming procurement process.
