Procurement of The Digital for Sustainability Index (D4S Index)

The purpose of this procurement is to enter into a contract for expert services to develop the beta version of the Digital for Sustainability (D4S) Index, including concept development and a “proof of concept”. The supplier shall provide a visual, web-based and functional system that generates and presents Norway’s environmental footprint from digital infrastructure. This Beta version will lay the foundation for, and constitute the first step towards, developing the full Digital for Sustainability (D4S) Index by allowing Nkom to test and validate the core methodological and technical framework. Further details are provided in the customer specification (ssa-o Appendix 1). The index shall provide governments, businesses, and researchers with a systematic foundation to guide and improve the role of digitalization in the transition to a net-zero and resource-efficient society. 4 The project has a fixed price of nok 2. 700. 000 ex. Vat. In addition, Nkom shall have the option (right, but no obligation) to order consultancy assistance for further development of the Digital for Sustainability (D4S) Index.
