Want orange colour gone. Paint/sand varnish? (3 etasjer)

Looking for a quote to refresh an existing wooden staircase and stair railing in a detached house over 3 floors in bærum. The stairs are currently lacquered/stained in an orange tone, and the goal is simply to remove or change this colour. i am open to recommendations on the best solution, whether paint or varnish/stain, depending on what is most suitable.
