Statnett sf intends to enter into a framework agreement for the provision of traffic and driver training for employees and hired personnel across Norway. The purpose of the agreement is to ensure that employees who drive service vehicles in connection with work on or related to power supply infrastructure receive targeted and safety-enhancing training in accordance with Statnett’s requirements and operational needs. The agreement will cover training related to: • Driving techniques and risk awareness for larger and heavier vehicles used in Statnett’s operations • Use of trailers and relevant load securing (the possibility of training leading to category be is desired) • Driving under varying and demanding conditions, including winter driving and field work • Traffic safety and driver training based on Statnett’s actual vehicle fleet and work patterns Training must be deliverable in geographical proximity to Statnett’s operational locations. Flexible solutions must be offered to enable courses to be held near, among others, Oslo, Stavanger, Kristiansand, Molde, Trondheim, Mo i Rana, Narvik, Alta and Kirkenes. There will be an option to include digital course modules as a supplement to practical driver training. The framework agreement will be entered into with one supplier and will have a duration of 4 years, with an option to extend for up to an additional 4 years (2+2), for a total maximum of 8 years. The estimated annual consumption under the agreement is between nok 400,000 and 800,000 excluding vat. Volume and frequency may vary, and the estimate is not binding on the contracting authority.
