Ife needs better support for the handling of documents. It is expected that a new and modern Electronic Document Management Solution (edms) will cover most of IFEs needs – in Its standard form. The new edms solution shall support the vision of “one ife”. This means that it must be easily accessible and easy to use while offering adequate control and security so that it can handle documents that are used for critical purposes. The ambition is that all employees at ife will use the solution to manage documents. The solution will largely replace the current manual processes for creating, sharing, version control, and search documents. It should not replace document handling in systems and processes that are functioning well today.
