The contract includes maintenance and upgrading of software and hardware with an accompanying service and support agreement. Skien municipality would like a single administration interface for medicinal dispensers and equipment for digital home follow-up. The dispensers and equipment must cover all of the contracting authority ́s needs for the design and functions that are necessary for use in the municipal sector. The first delivery shall be in 2024. The contracting authority believes that there is only one supplier on the market who can cover the contracting authority ́s needs and that there is, thus, a legal right to enter into a contract with Dignio. The contracting authority believes that by entering into agreement with Dignio, only an integration that is already known will be used. This will make training easier and reduce the risk of mismedication and deviations.
