Remove and replace 5 door thresholds; install new counter over old counter in kitchen; build TV and stereo shelf

Door thresholds are high and need flat area to clear walking path. i want to place a new counter top over the old one and the material is wood. i would like a simple 2 shelf unit for the tv and other items.
