VEAS pumpestasjon

The Company Vestfjorden Avløpsselskap (veas) has a sewage disposal plant located close to Slemmestad in Asker in the Oslo area. The plant was finished in 1982. The plant includes a sewage pump station with 8 pumps inside a separate cavern and a vertical excavated shaft leading the pressure pipes up to a level approximately 20 meters above. There are all together 8 pipes with diameter between 500 and 700 mm in the vertical shaft. The work to be performed is to manufacture and install three additional steel frames for support of the pipes in the vertical shaft. Additionally minor adjustments shall be done to ladders platforms and existing pipe supports.
